  Great old fashioned style pub with great staff, food & drinks. Staci & Richard are as down to earth as they come when it comes to a publican.

  Came for a fringe comedy show. Arrived 50 min early for food. Only table available was outside by the door. No worries. Order food then another group are put upwind. 4 people smoking not giving a care in the world. Mentioned to staff as by the entrance to a food facility your not allowed to smoke and smoking is meant to be in a separate non food area. Staff did not care. Asked to have the food as take away to have during the show and told sorry we can't do that as it's rude to the comedian's. Fair enough got a refund. Only for food to be delivered to other patrons during the show. Oh and $11.50 for a cc and dry then a surcharge for using bank card!! In a society where electronic funds are preferred your charging a card fee??? That's disgusting!!

  We are new to the area and knew nothing about the Prince Albert Hotel. We were hopeful of a good meal but sadly that wasn't the case. My husband order chicken schnitzel, chips and salad. I ordered two sides: sweet potato fries and onion rings. The best part of the meal was the onion rings, although would have improved with one more minute in the deep fryer. Schnitzel was dry and way too thick. Sweet potato fries were soggy. The worst part of the meal was that the sweet potato fries and the chips on my husband's plate with the schnitzel were so salty, we could barely eat them. We had to keep shaking them to try and release some of the salt. Food was a bit expensive for basic pub meals. Was going to order a mini pavlova but at $12, not worth it. Staff were friendly, wait staff a little inexperienced. Smell of the frying oil wafted through the building which was unpleasant. Exhaust fans in the kitchen?
  Venue is not very disability friendly... lots of trip hazards with little steps and rough surfaces. Sorry owners, I can see you are trying.

  The young lady at the bar for lunch service was amazing and personable.
  
  My son (12) has issues with social cues and she was amazing.
  
  Thank you for amazing food and an amazing experience
